O2 Money Saving Expert

What would you expect to find if you typed in O2 Money Saving Expert in to the search box of your favourite search engine? Well that’s what I have just done out of interest, as it was one of those Google suggestions that appear in a drop down box as you start to type in a keyword into the search engine.

I was about to look for some information about an O2 related product, but as I typed in ‘O2’ and pressed the space bar, the suggestion service suggested O2 Money Saving Expert, so I took a look just out of interest.

As you might expect, most of the front page was full of M Lewis and his money saving site, with multiple listings all down page1 of Google. I had a quick browse over two or three of the post and it did make me laugh a bit. The first item was in the forum, where someone was telling another member that o2 home and broadband package was the cheapest in the UK.

The following page listed by the search engine was a news post from money saving expert, telling the story about how o2 were putting the price of their broadband up to existing customers by between £1.84 and £3.63 per month, that could be a whopping £43 extra per customer per year.
