Is Orange Laptop Insurance Still Available

With the launch of the iPad 2 now past, the days when mobile phone shops were offering free laptops to entice customers to sign up for mobile internet contracts seem to be declining, after checking online and with a local Orange shop, where FOC laptops were not in stock. A few months back you could get free Orange laptop insurance, and a free laptop when you signed up for a 12 or 24 month mobile broadband contract.

The iPad now seems to be the preferred device over the more traditional laptop computer. That’s not surprising really, as the Apple ipad is far more convenient to travel with as well as being far more desirable, furthermore, it is worth taking into account that the battery life of the iPad is now around an impressive 10 hours.

With this switch over to the ipad as the preferred device it seems that Orange laptop insurance is also at the end of its shelf life, probably being replaced with something call Orange iPad insurance, or something similar.
